Building a better book world
We're book people. We're passionate about offering solutions that make the lives of book professionals easier. Edelweiss, our online platform, serves as a single source of information to sell, discover, and order new titles. Edelweiss proudly serves thousands of book retailers, libraries, and publishing houses across the United States and Europe with millions of titles, including virtually all of the currently available US trade frontlists.
Edelweiss is privately owned in Ann Arbor, MI. It was founded by John Rubin, the son of an independent bookseller and grandson of a librarian in 2004.
We fervently believe in the power of books to engage, enlighten, and transform our world. We are dedicated to supporting the book in all its forms.
We help book professionals work better and read more and are dedicated to leveraging the power of the book for social good.
